I feel it to be my privilege to get elected as president of the Retired Forest Officers’ association, the post, hitherto, held by erudite and highly experienced retired forest officers. The association, I am sure has done its best in dealing with the problems of the members of the association in getting them resolved by the appropriate authorities as and when required. I would like to carry forward the effective work carried out so far by the association. I would also take essential steps to address issues connected with the environment and climate change by making appropriate suggestions to the concerned authorities with the unbridled cooperation of the members of the executive committee and all members of the association. I would put in sincere efforts in bringing the genuine problems, if any, being faced by the members of the association to the notice of the concerned authorities for doing the needful at the earliest.
